George Wallace

About the Show

Longtime comedian George Wallace is one likeable character – so likeable that after watching his Las Vegas show, you'll want him to entertain at your own parties.

While his jokes lean more on the clean side, Wallace proves hilarity comes from any angle. He immediately kicks off the show on a fun, upbeat note by gracing the stage with his own catchy theme song. You might even get up and start dancing. His friendly demeanor catches – and keeps – your attention.

His popular "I Be Thinkin'" segment includes his thoughts about everything from pop culture to everyday expressions. For instance, he recounts, "How can alarm go 'off' when it actually turns 'on?' I be thinkin'." (You'll be surprised how much sense his "I Be Thinkin'" questions actually make.) Plus, since a lot of his material draws from everyday moments, he relates well with his audience. And just like any good ol' comedy show, he may just pluck you out of audience and give you five minutes of fame.

Wallace performs inside the Donny & Marie Showroom. See for yourself why he's the "Best 10 p.m. Show in Las Vegas."

About George Wallace

Inspired by comedic legends Richard Pryor, Johnny Carson and Redd Fox, it's no wonder Wallace is a longtime favorite. He captures the essence of his predecessors, all while keeping his material original.

The Atlanta-born comedian moved to New York to pursue his comedy career. Stemming from spiritual roots, Wallace performed his first stand-up in a preacher's robe and called himself Reverend Doctor George Wallace. He became an instant hit. Fun fact: While perfecting his skill in New York City, he was roommates with fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld. He later became Seinfeld's best man for his wedding.

Wallace moved to the West Coast and wrote for "The Redd Foxx Show" before returning to stand-up. He became a regular at Hollywood's The Comedy Store, hosting legends like Richard Pryor and Robin Williams. He performed at his current show inside the Flamingo for more than a decade.

His jokes definitely paid off: He made Comedy Central's "Top 100 Comedians of All Time." He also placed first for the cable TV special "The Big Laugh Off."
